17 Years & Counting… Happy Anniversary!
Happy Anniversary!
Today, we celebrate 17 years since we first said, “I do.”
I am blessed beyond measure to be married to Alisha. Our story to date has been filled with highs & lows, twists & turns, but through it all one thing remains the same: there’s no one else I’d rather be on this journey with than you. I don’t think we could have predicted 17 years where we are today. God has done in & through us immeasurably more than we could have asked or imagined. For that, I am so thankful.
From meeting for the first time in Nashville, TN… to being married & starting our lives together in Huntsville, AL… to following God’s leading to Atlanta, GA & now living & loving life in Dallas, TX… I’m thankful for this journey & for a wife who has the courage to come with me as we follow God’s leading together.
I have no idea what lies ahead on the road before us, but it really doesn’t matter. We know Who goes before us & we know whatever comes our way we will face it & embrace it together. This life is an awesome adventure. And I’m most thankful to be on this journey with someone who has the courage to keep putting one foot in front of the other as faithfully as we know how. Trusting God to lead us, use us, to do in us & through us what is for our good & His ultimate glory.
So it’s 17 years & counting. What the story holds & where we’ll be in 17 years, I have no idea. But I can’t wait to find out. God is the King of authoring great stories. I’m thankful He’s the author of this one.
