I didn’t start drinking coffee every morning until our third kid was born. I love our kids, but once Alisha & I were outnumbered I had to call in for backup! But direct trade is when you’re coffee roasters are working directly with your coffee farmers. The farmer grows the coffee in his fields & ships it directly to the roaster. He gets a better price for his coffee & the roster gets single origin high quality coffee beans. Unlike some coffee, where lesser quality coffee beans are mixed with some higher quality beans, now you’re drinking the top shelf stuff.

Because those farmers who grew your coffee are Christians. And they’re using the money they’ve earned to plant churches in their country.
