Come to the Holy Land // Israel 2020

Seeing Jesus in the Land of Israel

How would you like to go to the Holy Land? To the place where Jesus lived, died, and rose again?

Last year, Alisha and I were blessed with an unbelievable opportunity to travel to Israel and see where so much of what we believe about Jesus actually happened! And now, we want to go back and we want you to come with us!

When we first made our plans to go to Israel we thought that it would be a once in a lifetime opportunity. But after being there, after sailing on the Sea of Galilee, after walking the streets of Jerusalem, after entering the empty tomb, we knew we had to come back. And we knew we had to bring others with us to experience the Holy Land.

I wish I could tell you what it’s like to sit in the Garden of Gethsemane. To have lunch where Jesus once gave the Sermon on the Mount. I wish there was a way I could capture with words what happens when you sit on the southern steps of the Temple mount and you read the story about the day Peter delivered that first gospel sermon and 3000 people were baptized.

I can tell you stories. I can show you pictures. But all of that will fall short.

The good news is that you can come and you can see for yourself what we saw in the Holy Land. What so many have seen who have traveled there! You can see where angels came to deliver the news that Messiah had been born, where Jesus was baptized in the Jordan river, where the One we call Lord performed miracles, where our Rabbi taught the masses, where our Savior died on a cross, where he rose up from the grave, and where he ascended into heaven!

You gotta come!

We’re leading a group to Israel on June 2-9, 2020, and we would love for you to pray about being a part of this group! We’ve got an incredible trip planned with incredible people to lead us along the way.

If you come, here’s what I know will be true for you.

You will GROW.

Your faith will never be the same again. You’ll never be able to read the Bible like you did before. All of a sudden you’re reading about Jesus living in Nazareth and you’ll know what Nazareth is like because you have been there! Or you’ll read about Jesus teaching in Capernaum and you’ll remember that you’ve sat in that same synagogue!

All the stories of scripture come to life and your faith will grow in ways it never has before because you stepped into the pages of your Bible! It will completely change how you read scripture and it will deepen your faith in ways you didn’t know were possible!

You will SEE.

You will see Jesus in a whole new way. I’m not sure what you see when you try to picture Jesus or imagine what he was like when he walked the planet some 2000 years ago. But I do know that you will have a better picture of Jesus when you step into the land where he lived.

You’ll know what the Judea sun felt like on his face. You’ll know what the Sea of Galilee smelled like in the summer. You’ll experience the noisy streets of Jerusalem, the dusty roads he traveled, and the land will come to life as you see with your own eyes where Jesus once lived. Everywhere you look, you’ll see Jesus. And you’ll see him in a whole new way.

So, do you want to come with us to Israel?

I hope you’ll prayerfully consider this incredible opportunity! If you’re interested, here’s a link to more info! If you have questions, feel free to email me. We’ll be glad to help you in any way we can. Because we want you to see Jesus and come to know him in a whole new way!
