As we continue to think about what it means for us to follow the words of Jesus to be peacemakers in a year where we’re dealing with a pandemic, political tension, and continued stories of racial injustice, I’m grateful to share in this conversation with my friends Mario and Lauren Lozano.
Mario and Lauren live in Atlanta, GA and both work as graphic designers. They bring wisdom and insight from their own lives, experiences, and perspectives that helped me understand better how we can work for peace in this world.
I’m grateful to them for their friendship, for the way they love Jesus and live out their faith every day. I pray this conversation is a blessing and an encouragement to you.
“For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us.” — Ephesians 2:14
This conversation was recorded for the Riverside Church in July 2020 and can be viewed on the Riverside YouTube Channel.
