The Lord’s Prayer: Deliver Us From Evil

As we pray the Lord’s Prayer with a sense of living on mission, we realize the power of these words… “Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” These words remind us that our Father is a deliverer. He always has been & He always will be. His mission is to set us free. To deliver us from whatever may come against us. The Lord of Hosts, the God of Angel Armies, is always with us ready to deliver us from evil & into the Kingdom of our Father. And our mission is the same. To partner with Him in delivering others from darkness & certain death into His Kingdom of light & life!  What happens when “Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil” is not just our prayer but our purpose?
