We’re Moving to Texas!
That’s right! We announced today that our family will be moving Coppell, TX in just a few short weeks.
I have been so incredibly blessed over the past 16 years to serve as the Student Minister at two amazing churches. First, at Mayfair Church of Christ in Huntsville, AL for 10 great years. And more recently at Campus Church of Christ in Norcross, GA for the past 6 years. Both places have loved our family well. And both churches are a part of our larger faith family & places we will always call home.
Now we enter into a season of life & ministry.
I’m excited to share that I will be the next Preaching Minister for Riverside Church of Christ in Coppell, TX. Our family could not be more excited about this opportunity. We feel confident that this is where God is leading us. I wish I had time to tell you the story of how God has led us. Of how God has been so faithful, so good & so kind as we have been seeking his face in recent weeks & months. I can’t help but think about this verse from 1 John 1.3 when John wrote, “See what great love the Father has lavished on us…” That’s exactly how we feel. God has poured his love over us & covered us in His grace as He has led us to Riverside.
To our Campus Family:
Thank you for loving us so well over the past 6 years, You mean more to us than you will ever know. You have given me opportunities to learn & grow & I will be eternally grateful to God for you. Please know that while we are moving on to what God has next for us, you will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you for all you’ve done for us & all you mean to us. Your love, support & friendship has been & will continue to be a tremendous blessing to our lives.
To our Riverside Family:
My wife Alisha & I have been praying for you even before we knew you, asking God to lead us to where He would want us to go in this next season of ministry. And I know that you have been praying also! Asking God to lead you & guide you to bring the right person to be a part of your faith family there at Riverside. And we believe that today all our prayers have been answered.
We’ve already been so blessed to meet some of you. Those of you we met through the search team became fast friends. Your staff there at Riverside is exceptional & we can’t wait to serve side by side with them. And your elders & their wives have already been incredible shepherds in our lives.
Alisha & I can’t wait to meet the rest of you. We can’t wait to introduce you to our children Will, Ella Grace & Emma Love. We can’t wait for God to weave our lives together & see what God does in the coming weeks, months & years as we serve by your side for His great Name.
